The issue regarding Malian women bleaching their skin is ridiculous. However, I don't believe that it's the women's fault. Perhaps if their society was less race oriented them maybe people would accept and embrace who they are. The women are causing their skin to become pallid and it's causing them to become something that they aren't. The women that are currently treating their skin this way seem mesmeric and are just doing this to feel accepted and like they belong. Doctors should try to educate the people of that area and be more salubrious. Instead of embellishing these women with things to improve themselves, they should be working harder to embellish them with self confidence and acceptance. I thought it was bad when people decided that being more salacious would benefit their social life but now it's gone as far as bleaching your skin. What has the world come to? If the world was more jovial then maybe people all around the world wouldn't strive so hard to be perfect. Maybe this is the only alternative for those who aren't born with a good sense of dowry. Their government needs to do a better job of filling their people with more ebullient attitudes then maybe then people will see the light.
